The Old Folks Home

I take it there was a fair amount of fuel in the tank? Otherwise Mr (or is that Ms?) Mahindra could have done the job.

It was down to roughly 80 gallons. The Mahindra was able to pull it out of the shed but the barn sets lower than the chicken coop/shed where the tank was and pulling it down and maneuvering it into the spot where we wanted it was...well...like we told the MFA guy, if it was going to get busted, we rather they bust it. There is a pump and fuel gauge on top of it that were were afraid that if we rolled it would get snapped off.

Once he got it down from the hill and in the barn, we used the Mahindra to pull it roughly into the area where we wanted it, then he attached it to the crane, raised it so it was 'floating' and the three of us shoved and pushed it into the spot it was destined for. Even suspended 6 inches above the ground those 80 gallons of diesel plus the weight of the tank was not something you wanted to disrespect.

Oh, BTW. He dented the tank :yesss:

I need SNOW! I know, dirty 4 letter word, but it's hard to feel festive when the temps are in the high 60s and it feels more like early spring than winter. It doesn't need to be a lot. A few inches. Is that asking for too much? I seriously know that sooner or later mother nature is going to catch up with us. I'm just one of these people who believes that winter starts about two weeks before winter. On Christmas eve it snows, We wake up Christmas morning to 6 inches of snow on the ground. The day after Christmas the snow melts and then we have SPRING!

Seems like a reasonable plan to me.

I got some fencing up today near Turkey Town.

Because we didn't do it!:wee Which is why we had the company move it. It's not a big dent. If it was a car I'd just give it the dry ice, plunger treatment.
My kid just pulled a dent out with a bundle of glue sticks :idunno

Since they dented it, do they fix it?

Frosty here this morning. Tomorrow and Tuesday the high temps will remain below freezing. :( We've had a mild fall over all so not complaining...too much. :D
Our pup was 6 months old yesterday. Keeps us busy and smiling. Just what we needed this year!
Have a wonderful Sunday OF peeps.
