Still haven't started clearing, but.... Got more than half the garden turned over and all the left over rape and weeds thrown into the pens for the kids to play with. Did some weed eating under the hot wire so it doesn't ground out. Made Strawberry Cheesecake muffins to munch on and some cornbread for the kids. They are so spoiled.

It is very pretty!

The nectarine tree is blooming here. Almonds also have the bees busy at work too

So you have four feet of snow at that point. Thinking of that reminds me of the winter of '78. That was fun because I was a kid and didn't have to worry about adult things. That much snow now.... shudder.

The snow of '67 in Chicago was a traffic stopper- sorry mind fails me now regarding inches but cars were abandoned on the bridge. At home people in neighborhood took turns digging out parking places(almost no one had a garage) and pushing cars into them.
My sister came to fetch me home from my grooming shop and we nearly got stuck on the bridge - glad she did. Otherwise I probably would still be there.

Village I live in for 51 years now, excellent snow removal services except driveways- can be a nightmare themselves.
