re: Heavier bags

The heavier they are, the less expensive per pound. I can order Chewy chicken feed to my door and that saves the heavy lifting partially (I still need to get it from the front door to the coop...Where's my DH?) Pretty sure the delivery person cusses when Chewy has their BOGO (well, 3 for the price of 2) sales.
Feed does come in lesser sizes (15, 25, 40#) than 50, but my wallet feels it.
Funny that a 5 lb bag of oyster shell costs up to $7 at the store and comes in a handy resealable bag, and yet 50 lbs of the same is only a few dollars more clothed in paper.

and full pound not quite but a solid half
Your dog gets a half pound burger with e ery pill?!?

Good morning everyone. I'm still tired. I stayed up almost all night, keeping watch over the kids, out in their tent.
Afraid the bears would get them or something?

Yep, that is why I have them order the "no name" 50# bag instead of buying the MannaPro 5#. I could see getting the small one if I only had a hen or two.

Ok, I got into sufficient trouble for all of us.. Went to TSC picked up my incubator, then got two more cattle panels/tarps and enough bolts to make two more round pens.. or I could make one really big round pen for the herd that's now incubating. I can put tents inside a really big one made from the tarps.. of course I have enough deer netting to cover the entire top, but will pick up more chicken wire to surround the outside. Hmmmm, one big one, or two smaller ones.. Me thinks one big one as a turn out pen for new hatches. If one cattle panel plus a 4 foot doorway = 36 foot circumference, I wonder what a big one will be in diameter? And duck duck go says 12 feet in diameter.

A work in progress. Cattle panels secured together and stick stuck in the joint to keep it from folding while I'm rounding it out. Japanese Privet is easy enough to work with for roosts and the tent awning. Doorway tied until I go pick up the lumber I need to get that put together and enough small chicken wire to run around the bottom edge. Still have the larger chicken wire to go on the next level up. Oh, and I have plenty of hot wire left so I picked up some more step in posts to enlarge my fenced in area.

Anyone use Colloidal silver on burns ? My postal bud brought it said use it ..
I use colloidal silver for sinus infections or the first sign of a cold or flu. Works wonders. Might want to do a search on using it on burns. One thing it will do is keep out infections.
