The Old Folks Home

Has anyone used that 'get go gone' test for colorectal cancer?
Nope.

But I have heard that there are a decently high number of false positives and negatives.

So much better to have someone LOOK, and KNOW, instead of guessing.

Yeah... a couple of uncomfortable days... but then you are done, and you know.

Also, any small polyps can be removed at the same time as the exam.

Hadn't heard about the false pos/negs, Al, thanks. All I've heard is that if you have problems with fissures or hemorrhoids it can give false negatives for occult blood but that was all I heard.

Got to go out and take care of the idiots...no not the dogs, the chicken idiots although the way the males have been acting today remind me a lot of the young roosters.

Have a stinker of a storm passing through here again. I went out and showed the babies the tubs they are 'supposed' to get in at night and during storms. There is a tarp tent overhead, but instead they all follow me to the gate and huddle right there. So I took a light out and hung it under the tent over the tubs and moved them all back there again. It's working, for now.

Ya now it is my turn. Kept putting mine off covid shots other tests all that then it was time for him to get it done.
guess now it is my turn

My Grandfather had shingles and suffered terribly, then my step mom had it and 4 months later was still having problems. I was on Oxymatrine (ku shen, or sephora root) at the time when I got shingles. I doubled the dose and within 3 days was on the mend with no itching or pain. The Oxymatrine was for Hep C (which keeps the liver cool chemically so the virus can't replicate). TCM has it's advantages, since there are no side effects.
