The Old Folks Home

We often go from heater to AC in the same week! This year we had almost two weeks of spring...It was nice but now we are having above normal temps for highs. Normal is 78F and Two days ago we hit 95F.

We may be in for another record breaking summer.
Ha!

Your spring sounds like my summer!

I've got two ahem.. ameracanas, that I thought for sure were going to turn out to be cockerels, but at 10 weeks I'm not seeing it! Still no pointy feathers in the saddle area, nor on the neck. I bit early yet for cycle feathers, but.. would just be my luck if they were both pullets. I'm hoping I'm wrong about that.

Good morning everyone. G'morning sour. Damp is good if you need it. Later today we are celebrating Dd #1's birthday. I'm not sure what happened yesterday, but I was totally weak, and drained of energy. I'm doing better today. Quacker Sparkles has made up with me.

We had a t-storm band breeze through. All of 10 minutes of inclement weather (wind followed by hail followed by rain) and then back to sunshine. Due to be 80 today. Been getting my peppers and tomato starts planted and harvesting the winter/spring veggies.

I've taken Norman's (my greyhound w/osteo) death very hard, much deeper than other dogs. So keeping to myself. 'nuff said.
