The Old Folks Home

OOPS! Too late. Pushed the mower around for a bit. One small section at a time, may get the whole place done in a month or two that way :idunno
Mimosas are in full bloom now, tomatoes are busting at the seams, corn is coming along nicely and the elderberry patches I spared are now growing good. Found them bowed down to the ground near dead 2 years ago when I was clearing. View attachment 2689349View attachment 2689350

My corn just popped out of the ground lol.

I gave up planting corn. Got tired of donating it to the local Raccoon population.

There are a few peaches on our trees. The bumper crop we were expecting will not happen this year thanks to the freeze but we will have a few peaches. Maybe I can get a pint or two of jam if I can figure out a way to keep the masked bandits and timber rats with antlers away from them.

My little garden is doing well. The potatoes are sprouting, the onions are growing and the beans are coming up. Tomatoes aren't blooming yet but it's still a bit early here. I have to admit I'm really getting a lot of enjoyment out of fussing over it this year.

Morning, or Afternoon everyone. Highs in the 80s here today with severe storms in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

Haven't had those for a few years.

Got up with a couple kids 5:20am. To see lunar eclipse. Overcast cloudy oh well.
Hot already hopefully we get some rain cheepteach, drier than a popcorn fart here.
No eclipse here.
