accuweather sent a high heat warning for the weekend here.

weather can be so different in other parts of the Country!

Yup. Can go both extremes here , one week frigid next hot!
Gotta love USA!
Would love to visit California some day.
Can't find the quote on a quick search but pretty sure I heard Reagan say one time, something to the effect that if our first settlers/forefathers, landed in California first, they would have went no further . LOL!
Maybe I'm wrong. Not sure can't find it.

Sorry something my Dad always said, never heard drier than a camel fart, dad always said drier than a popcorn fart.

Good Morning all you popcorn eaters! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Dark as dark can be out with the exception of this giant full moon shining this morning.

Occupational Therapist came yesterday to evaluate. I've made so much progress she says there really not much she can do. Call if I need her. OK.

Men from the power company came and 'trimmed' the tree in front of the house.. Butchered it is more like it.. I'm call the power company today since the guy totally wipe out the tree on the north side. He cut off all the branches on the side away from the house exposing it too all kinds of rot and diseases so when it dies the tree comes down on the side with the most weight right on top of the house. They asked if I wanted the to cut down the small mimosas in front. I said 'NO, it will take 30 years for the to reach the power lines, so what did they do? Ran over them. I'm steamed. Plus the pulled down the barricade beside the driveway to get in and couldn't put that back correctly. I had it there to keep people from driving all over the front yard so I could get some grass there. Sheesh.

My friend told me last night that the city -- with out notifying her -- ripped out her driveway to fix a sewer line. She came home from the store to find it that way.
