I made a dust bath for the little chicks today. They LOVED it! I rigged up a playpen, and they weren't interested because they were too busy dustbathing. So instead of having three little chicks climb on me, I went to the garden and got some weeding done. I'll try again tomorrow. Maybe one new thing a day is enough?

Anybody want to trade their rain for 104 degree heat? ( Just askin' for a friend... )

My knees are happy with the heat and low humidity. But we've got unhealthful air warnings from local and AZ fires, extreme UV warnings, and high heat advisory. Been out watering morning and night. Lows expected to be mid-70's all week. I thought I moved from Las Vegas to escape all this!

How about 95 with 90+ % humidity.

102 today. Supposed to be 106 tommorow! This is crazy! Scary. Only June. Going on untill Friday. Saturday finally brlie three digit weather. Still..mid to high 90's.
