CORRECT! I'm working on larger egg size anddddd color. May take a few generations but at least I have a start on it. Was out taking pictures and Twist laid another egg. She's laying dark cream eggs (Cinnamon Queen) while one of the other gals (Calico Princess) lays much darker eggs. Also have 'somebody' who has started laying in the pullet turn out pen that's laying dark eggs comparable to my BCM. Her daughter is in that pen, but I don't think she's really old enough to lay yet at 15 weeks, so it must be one of the store bought (BSL?) pullets I bought. They are 20 weeks now. I'll make a few posts to display my breeding results if you don't mind too much.Well, you just have to see what color eggs the next generation will lay.![]()

These are gals from my Bielefelder/EE (looks like a brahma with big muffs hen) And one speckled gal from my Big Cockoo Marans and my BSL hen, Henrietta. I pulled a few of Henrietta's eggs after Charlie left to go work on a cattle farm.
These last two are pure Bielefelder pullets and Henrietta's speckled girl.
All the Bielefelders and B crosses will go back in with Graystoke to give his two hens a rest.
