Hi guys. Took the weekend 'off' meaning more off than usual. SO much going on in the world right now I just needed to kick back and relax a bit.

At least Ida isn't tracking up the old Miss like so many gulf hurricanes do so that was good news and one of the stress things I could cross off the list.

I read somewhere once that Cattle dogs have a bit of bull dog in them. If you look at their jaws you can sure see where if that is true.

Has anyone used one of these kits? You swab the dog's inner cheek and mail the sample off. They send you the results in 2-3 weeks.

Okay, it was a calf. We pulled into the local grocery store and parked next to this hatchback and there was a calf staring out at us.

Close as we can figure it was summer, fair season and somebody won it then wondered 'how the hell we getting that calf home!?'
