Raining here again. Pretty sure it's rained every week this summer. I sure hope the precipitation doesn't continue into this winter might be a bad one.

We have dry again rained a few months starting in late September. Rain is going to be north a few hundred miles

It was sunny this morning, and now it's clouded up and the wind is brisk. Chilly out there! I put some furnace filter material over some of the openings in the coop, to knock the breeze down.

I'm going to make the wind block panels for the run soon... maybe tomorrow.

I ordered the new instant that starbucks is touting extra dark ? Actually made by Nestle ?

What is "furnace filter material" made of? I might be concerned the chickens would end up ingesting some of it.
