We had these storms forcasted .. Went out a lul in the rain.
Had finished cleaning the tables started to pour then came the thunder. I parked on the edge of one of the tables .. Thunder it did couple real good ones ..
Now I am back in dented one egg in my pocket but had 9
in there .. Sun came out of all things now

My yard is not a safe place to pray since the chickens have their freedom... Not safe for praying mantis' that is! 3 gulps and he's down! Never fails to amaze me how they swallow such large bugs- if I held a praying mantis they grab a hold of my fingers so tight that I can hardly put them on the ground.

My chickens have access to the garden just now ..
Fact is they all stood in their coop with the downpour and thunder.

Do your chickens eat the spotted lantern flies? Mine won't touch them but there's plenty of them around. I wonder if it's the color that turns the chickens away
