Happy Saturday everyone. Took the day off yesterday and slept most of the afternoon, then overdid the fiber in the form of baked beans that were delicious and spent most of the evening in the loo.

Still trying to regulate the medicines and diets. No easy step by step instructions to follow. Just a little of this and a little of that plus a pill or two and hope for the best.

Told my husband it was just a trial run for the Gatorade and Miralax special event. :lau

I can empathize for other reasons! A bit of the stomach virus has had me checking out the walls of the loo for days. Never trust a fart!
Happy Saturday to all my OF buddies.
Spent some time with the kids in the second brooder. I haven't given them the attention that their siblings in the LR brooder has had. No problems, they were fighting for attention. Geeze I'm popular this time around. I have still never had such a group of friendly chicks ever. Corn Flake was the first up on the rim of the brooder and into my hand. A little chin rubbing, and chest rubbing was all it took and he got down to business breeding my hand. The guys are a bit oversexed if you ask me. Glad they aren't spraying yet, just going through the motions. So, with those 3 handled and loved on, out to the living room for more love. Fritter just walked all over his mates when I was giving them a daily dose of chin rubs. Hey! What about me? Ya think he's jealous or something?

My little OEGB SDW rooster Joker does that. He brings me tidbits and lays them down at my feet. He's so little and he looks up at me and I feel like a giant. If I make the mistake of reaching down and giving him a chest rub he is wanting to have his way with my hand. I tell him I'm flattered but spoken for.

Don't know whether to feel honored or insulted that he thinks I'm a big plucked bald hen.
