The Old Folks Home

I think it goes back to the caveman days. Then men killed the game, dragged it back to the cave. The women searched for fruits, berries and vegetables over a broad area. Gathered them gradually, then took them home.
I'd have been the most envied man in the cave as I am married to a 'Super Gatherer.' :lau

Wishing you all the peace, joy and love that is Christmas, no matter your faith or religious beliefs. In all the turmoil, worry, stress, fear and illness around us, pause, take a deep breath, look for that tiny spark of hope that is within us all, and let it grow into a bonfire in our hearts.

Joy to the World and Merry Christmas to all my friends here at the Old Folks Home.

I buy stuff as needed. I do not shop.
That's me, mostly. If I'm in a cool, one-of-a-kind, hand-made-stuff place, I take a lot of time to appreciate the work and artistry. That might be construed as "shopping," I suppose.
That's a guy thing.
If DH goes to the grocery store with me, we might go up every aisle, "looking for inspiration." I'm more of a "stick to the list" person. Though there are some things I check on whether we need them right then or not, to see if they're on sale.
I believe there is a testosterone link.
:hmm Now what does that say about me?

Women need a little testosterone too!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I agree, but I think it's a 'predisposition'.
I usually do the grocery shopping and I love lazy days when I can check each isle of a Costco or a Walmart. I usually don't buy much though.
Cabelas and old book stores however, all bets are off. :drool

No, it sucked. He thinks i need a root canal. But of course, no specialists open until next year. I was there from 1:30 until 5 pm. No cleaning done, they just ground my broken tooth down some. And took another xray after the ridiculous amount they took last time. And they didn't do any fillings either. Then didn't suggest medication despite the fact he says my tooth is infected. Then said they called it in, but wasn't there when i got to the pharmacy. Idk if they will be open tomorrow.
That sounds royally terrible.

I am so sorry.

There has to be a good dentist somewhere around you!

:hugs
