Good morning!! Made it through another night and saw another dawn!

That is usually a good start to the day!

Very windy here, and the temps will be falling all day.

Rising to about freezing at 4 PM then dropping steadily. Low to be 9°F at 7 AM, rising to a whopping 13°F midday then the bottom falls out. -9°F Tuesday AM with a high of -3°F. We are usually about 5°F lower than what Mr. NOAA predicts.

We were gone all day yesterday out taking errands till time to feed dogs make dinner.. I did early up, early to bed still slept late

Today we flooded rat tunnels, and stabbed rats with a long handled, small pitchfork. The chickens don't seem impressed one bit with my manicure. The rats didn't seem impressed either. I'm surprised about how well the gel polish is holding up to the abuse. Acrylic polish would be ruined by now.

I went creeking today, brought home 2 buckets of rock to look at.
