What's your temp?
Soorrrryyyy for the late response. I've been busy catching up on cleaning that I've neglected for 2 years because of not feeling well.

We had exceptionally cold weather here the first part of January. Highs in the low teens and lows -4 with wind chills in the -teens. Just freakin miserable because the wind just wouldn't quiet down.

Then three days ago it went the other direction with highs in the high 40s and lows in the 20s. The wind is still cold but not so as to bring tears to your eyes.

90% of the snow and ice is gone but they are calling for anywhere from 3-5 to 5-8 inches of snow tomorrow afternoon into Saturday morning. Then back to the cold temps again.

In the meantime, my birds are locked up. I took the nets down to keep the from getting torn by the freezing precip. When the snow started to melt the first of the week I told my husband that I could get out the next day and put up the new netting.....then saw the extended forecast and thought, nope, not gonna do it. They can just tough it out for a few more days.

I left the bachelor pen pop door open yesterday to get some fresh air in. The gate between the two runs is open and nope, no foot prints in the remaining snow that is there. Little wusses.

Here's my next project. I made an example of it in Second Life where I play. Lots of fun stuff there btw. I figure for under $150 I can build this. 3 cattle panels, chicken wire, deer netting for over the dome, and one Tarp which I got today (two 8 x 10 tarps for a whopping $10)

We hit 50° here today. I let all the goats out in the holding area near the barn, after i finished cutting a hole for them to exit through. First time they have been outside since the babies were born. I was out there in the goat pasture for quite a while, adding zip ties to be sure the chicken wire stays up over the fence, so the babies can't escape. Also moved a lot of downed branches and rocks.
