The Old Folks Home

Whooooooooo HOo! It's only noon, the 1st of Feb and I've got all my bills paid, chicken feed bought, more stuff for the new pens and grazing area fencing, got groceries for the month (freezer is now packed with meat) and escaped the store for a mere $90. Woot!
And All the clothes have been dryed and folded... Now to go outside and get in trouble or something.. It's 65 degrees and sunny out there. :wee

It's 42 degrees out, everything is melting/dripping. It's supposed to rain later this afternoon, then change to snow. I am so blankety-blank GLAD that I don't have drive anywhere in the next few days.

Depending on the storm track, we could get some snow, or a lot of snow. And it's going to get COLD (-2) Thursday night/Friday morning.

Think I'll go out and give the chickens their snack now. I have some fodder for them, and we'll see what they think of it.

Had to laugh at Tiny Dancer today.. While I'm doing kielbasa and cabbage in the wok, Gator's chugging down lunch and TD is pacing back and forth, back and forth behind Gator.. Gator finishes and as usual leaves a couple of 'bits' in the bowl.. As soon as Gator gets to the living room, Tiny Dancer is all over that bowl like a duck on a junebug. I don't know how he's swallowing those chunks of food! Then he got into his own bowl where I had put some small shavings of cabbage.. He's liking the 5 star treatment!

O! And in case ya'll need a solution to the cabbage and kielbasa meal, I have just the thing.
