I've been hanging my clothes on the line for years. I enjoy saving electricity.Ha, What a crazy old coot I am.. My washer went into unbalanced mode yesterday and I had a devil of a time getting it unstuck and restarted.. (electronics, pfft). So, I finally got the load washed and the dryer wouldn't work.. The unit is less than 3 years old, stackable unit from Sears. Blinking lights indicated a 'program failure'. Well, I checked on line for a new Dryer Control Panel and they are $146, and that's if I do it myself. (How hard can it be, really? I've been building computers for years.) Well, while I'm awaiting spare funds to buy the part, I spent $6 on a clothes line and clothes pins, and out the laundry went in the fresh air and sunshine. I sat on the back deck and watched my clothes gently swaying in the breeze getting disinfected by the sun.. Reminded me of my childhood.
Our clothesline fell down last year and hubby hasn't fixed it.Ha, What a crazy old coot I am.. I love the smell of clothes dried on the line. I love the fact that it's free and "green."clothes line and clothes pins, and out the laundry went in the fresh air and sunshine.
I don't think it was caused by the readers. Is it the first time you've worn them? Other things like blood pressure or even a stroke can cause dizziness. That's one of the things I was warned about when I had a stroke last year. Check your BP first if you can. Any muscle weakness or balance issues? Get to the ER!Here's a question for the OF.
Last night I was doing a crossword puzzle, wearing my new readers. I probably spent an hour or so wearing them. When I took them off, I had issues with dizziness. Anyone ever had that?
But here's the thing. It's 12 hours later, and I'm still having some dizziness issues. Not bad, just a little bit off, better than last night. I was sure it would go away while I slept.
I don't *know* it's from the readers, so it could be a coincidence. But I can't think of anything else that could have caused it.![]()
