The Old Folks Home

With many of them it appears that the problem is heart related. I had a beagle pup with 'failure to thrive' that died from an inadequate heart.
I've moved Itty Bitty into the brooder with the 3 day old chicks. First thing he did was get a big drink, then ate food with the babies.. Now he's fighting sleep but it's overtaking him. Would love to see him lay down and relax. He was constantly getting trampled by the bigger chicks his age. Plus he has the added benefit of having apple cider vinegar and B vitamins in the water. I do that at least for the first week with newly hatched babies and haven't lost one since doing it.

You may want to set up a brooder for him and one other so less chance of him getting trampled.
