I can rise but I absolutely refuse to shine this morning.

Did some mowing yesterday for the first time this season. Even my hair is sore this morning. I do the gas mower doing finishing mowing and DH does the main mowing on the Iseki tractor pulling the mower behind .

I've enjoyed mowing since I was old enough to reach the handle. Still do. I put on my MP3 headset, crank it up and mow away.

But that first time out of the season after a winter of inactivity is pure agony afterwards.

Our mower is not doing well. Hubby looking to fix it and sell it, then get a new one.

3 of the chicks are from Turtle Dove eggs, and 3 from the bantam BO chicks.. out of General Lee the silkie. He has a BIG fluffy butt.. He and Turtle Dove produced the Meister kids.

Well, there goes having a clean brooder.. 2 hours and it's a wreck again! Should just call the little twits 'wrecking balls' !

These are week old chicks now.. Silkie crosses, and the last hatch for the year.

Oh sure and we gonna believe that. when pigs fly (last hatch for the year)
