Wow I must have missed those two announcements.

In other news the warm front that came through this weekend and gave us a giant melt is over. Back to sub-freezing for the rest of the 10 day forecast. Only 2 of those days are predicted as snow.

I have to say I'm glad I got my flu shot... two of my friends were in the hospital this weekend with it. Uggh.

It is 72 now and I had to mow the lawn! The Chooks are happily munching down on the clippings now.

I will love seeing pictures like that when it is 110 this summer though....

My girls would like to be munching grass clippings too, but they would end up with a snow cone at this point. lol. The good part is we have never seen 110 ever..and I rarely have to water the lawns. I am waiting as patiently as I can for Spring. I love the smell of fresh cut grass. Oh I can hardly wait.

Well, I forgot to bring the camera, so I guess the pony party today didn't happen.

But if it didn't happen, what did I do all day, and why am I so tired?

I know! I stopped wearing shorts to work in December. I plan on wearing them tomorrow though.

Yes! Yes, I do! As a matter of fact, I have TWO Silver Campine eggs, and one is already in the bator. The other one just came today.

And our high today was well over 70! OH! And tomorrow is my birthday!

Dang it! I hate that you didn't get pics! I would have loved to see them. How did it go? I mean, if it had happened, how would it have gone?

A little help please for my technically challenged self. I am trying to add a list of my hens and pets and such to the bottom of my postings. I just figured out how to post pics and to put a photo for my avatar today. But I don't know where to put the list I want..Help anyone please?

if it had happened, how would it have gone?

Well, the lady organizing it would have been running late, so she would have sent her husband to get the preparations started. Then he might have gotten lost, so nobody who had any idea what they were doing would have gotten there to start setting up before the guests started arriving. Just another day at Insanity Central.

But Betsy and Sydney would have done really well, giving pony rides to about 20 kiddos. Blondie would have looked amazing wearing a silver unicorn horn, and a harness and halter made of green satin ribbon that the children decorated with stick-on jewels. The flowers and ribbons in her mane and tail would have gone flying when she decided to shake one time!

There would have been a bunch of other activities for the children, too, so they were kept busy and there would have been a minimum of meltdowns. I would have told the birthday girl's mother, "It didn't happen quite the way you wanted it to, but it happened, and I think everyone had a good time!"
