Went to town for ice cream and came home with 2 cantaloupes, 1 watermelon, 8 bottles of soft drinks, and more that has left my mind besides 2 gallons of ice cream. Heat will do it to ya.

Took my Gracie to the vet. He spent quite a bit of time with her and me. We know the teeth are bad. Wondering is she's shaking because of a bad tooth. Or two. They're bad, and I take her in every year for cleaning. She's just old. He's pulled 4 from her already. Now he asks if I'm sure I want to have them cleaned considering all that she has going on. Another something he added this time, he's detecting a heart murmur. I told him that I couldn't imagine living with a mouth full of pain. He says, I'm not going to talk you out of it. I told him whatever happens. I have a sister that lost an older dog during teeth cleaning. If you could see her teeth you would certainly understand why I can't let her live with them like this. Friday she goes in.

It's never the right time.

No nap here but went to dinner at Nacho's Mexican.
Best food in town. I was working in the garden came in clock said 6,
oops had start it by 4 roast beast.

She isn't gone yet. Hoping she does ok with the teeth cleaning. We're taking a chance because we think she has a toothache..or two..or more. The vet has down to take 4, we'll see. Probably have to start her on soft dog food.

Some nasty bastard of a hornet stung my ear yesterday.
I guess that I owe my good nights sleep to him (and the Benadryl!)

Ugh, felt like 101° here at one point! And my oil pan started leaking oil. I was half way to the swap in Farmville. Truck full of chickens and goats. It was an ordeal. First time i used my hazard lights. I hope the repair bill isn't too crazy expensive.

I woke up from another nap around 12:30. Came back in around 3 am. Had checked all the animals for food and water. Then watered three gardens. Hope to spend some time in the river soon, collecting some cool rocks.
