It was cloudy all day yesterday. It sprinkled a little bit, a few times. That kept the temps down.

Good morning Old Folks. Another do of tinkering with chickens has began. After a short rest break I'm got 2 more coops to put feed to and fill water cans. Can't do a lot more today as I have a PT appointment at 11:00.

The Eastern side is very Dry

The western side of Washington is normally pretty dry all summer. We usually get our rain the rest of the time. I’ve heard our climate described as modified Mediterranean rather than a maritime climate which is what you’d think.

That’s good to hear! So now do you need to follow up with your own doctor? Did they give you any suggestions as to why you got so sick? Anyhow it’s good that you’re posting in the old folks thread because there are centuries worth of experience dealing with medical concerns here.

Yeah, I have an appointment with my own on Tuesday. And not really. They said it was just bad dehydration and an adverse reaction to the medication. Also my blood sugar and liver levels were a bit high. Also I had some ketones in my urine but not diabetic ketoacidosis yet. They gave me like 4 bags of fluids though I didn’t finish the 4th one. And a shot of insulin. They said I need to follow up with my PCP on whether I need to start another diabetes med or maybe be on insulin since that seemed to work. I’m also supposed to be getting a glucometer so I will be discussing that too with him. And very true!!! Lol
