Morning Old Folks, My daughter is in Juneau.
She has two kids one boy, one girl.
Sucks major.

Our youngest Great grand daughter is a little conniver. She is going to be a real handful for her teachers. She starts K this year. K might get her settled down enough that she knows the teacher will be in charge.

Yesterday we had a birthday pool party for my granddaughter. 10 kids, and their parents showed up for it. The party alone was enough to wear me out, BUT a few days ago Dh had come down with some bug going around. Don't you know, it would hit me, and Dd #1 hard the evening before the party. We'd drag ourselves to do something, then go lay down. Get up, drag ourselves to do something else, then go back to bed. Rinse, repeat. Dd #2 showed up early yesterday morning to help out. Somehow, between all of us, we manged to pull it off, and the party was a success.

When the last guest left, I crashed. I slept over 12 hours straight. I'm not feeling great today, but surprisingly better than expected.

44 grandchildren, 10 greats. Can't believe I know their names. I do have to stop and think of the greats every now and again.

Cynthia, There were times, I'd look at one of my daughters, and call them by the wrong name. I knew who I meant, but in a hurry, it didn't come out that way. I'm not so bad about it with the grands, but it has happened. Don't even get me started on when everyone's birthday is. There is NO WAY I can remember them.

Cynthia, There were times, I'd look at one of my daughters, and call them by the wrong name. I knew who I meant, but in a hurry, it didn't come out that way. I'm not so bad about it with the grands, but it has happened. Don't even get me started on when everyone's birthday is. There is NO WAY I can remember them.

My mom used to do that sometimes. Call us by our siblings or even aunts names. Not very often but still.

You don't have to worry until your mom calls you by all three names at once.

My mom would sometimes say, "Sue-Bob-Sally!" That covered it.

Called by first name? No biggie. First and last, you better pay attention! First, middle, and last, run the other way.
