This cold damp weather must be what is making me want coffee at night. Surely it has nothing to do with age or any of that stuff.

I often have tea at night on cold days...Of course it is not very cold here!

It must be the darkness that makes be want a hot beverage.

Grandson is home sick today. Sore throat. One of the girls complained of a bit of a sore throat too, so I guess they've picked something up from school. I have Labs, and a CT scan this morning. I'll get him settled in before I go, then Dh can hold down the fort until I get back.

I voted for Grady every time I could. He is the best Sheriff I've ever known. That $20 is certainly for a good cause. Prevention is better than cure.

Good morning Old Folks went grocery shopping yesterday here.
Wet ground is back not raining now.

My wife @Rambling Iris went grocery shopping yesterday too. Looks like we are gonna eat one more week. Actually the cupboards are full along with the fridges (2), and a big chest freezer. #1 son is dropping off another chest freezer that will be used for fryers, broilers, and dumpling campers. He has been paying storage on it and can't use it in an RV so we will use it for family food storage. Any of the kids that stop by can pack up food and take it home. We have neighbors we also supply with eggs that have helped us with things we couldn't do alone. One installed or new range hood as well as got our pressure washer going. One helps with the building of coops. He got a start of hens free of charge. I like living where we are because of the great Old Folks we are surrounded by.
