The Old Folks Home

Don't miss it at all but boy o boy I do miss those Milky Way candy bars.
No soda here, and very little sugar. My weakness is Mounds bars. So I make them, with coconut and semi-sweet chocolate. The only other ingredient is a little honey to hold them together while I dip them.

When I finished my first "No carbs" month I found I didn't like the taste of sugar any more. It's been pretty easy to stay off it since then, providing I keep control and don't buy a bunch of sweet gunk.

I don't even much like jam any more.
 
Already to hubby not to buy me candy for Christmas. I always eat too much when I have marzipan, turtles etc.
Hubby bought me apound bag of peanut butter M&Ms. I saw the price: $7.89. I told him not to buy those again; for that price, buy me Dove Dark. Those I can eat one or two, and enjoy them. I eat the M&Ms by the handful... :oops:
