Hey old folks DH and Son are out stacking wood.

Yes they do. They like any kind of liver. Beef liver is good too. I just don't fish for catfish any more. The only fresh water fish I like is rainbow trout. I might like walleye if I had the chance to catch one and fix it fresh our way.

I caught a huge Walleye in Canada when I was a kid.

They were forecasting -2 to-5, but it was a blistering 3 ABOVE zero when we got up!

I really hope this is the last of bitter cold here. Teens at night is fine, as long as the number is positive.

I don't like temps below 40°. Around here people worry about chill hours for their peach trees. I think this years needs have been met. It's okay for spring to come early.

Good morning, OF. Single digit real feel, and there's snow to be shoveled. My hands hurt just thinking about it.

Don't need a worm for sunfish. just flatten out a piece of fresh bread where it will wobble as it sinks. Don't use any added weight. Just let it sink on its own and see what happens. I used to do that and it really PO's the rich kids who had the latest greatest tackle and could not catch the fish like I was.

We used to take a slice of bread, pinch out a piece from the center, squeeze it into a dough ball, put it on the hook, and catch fresh water fish like crazy.

Here's my morning view this morning. Love it when the sun is shining on our tallest mountain in this valley. Timpanogos. 38 degrees right now, getting up to 44 with a lot of rain/snow..slush..starting around 2 until the rest of the day into the night. Clouds are high right now, thats why we can see those mountains. When it's clear skies here in the winter, it's cold at nights! The clouds are our blankets.

We just about got to single digits a couple of weeks ago. 10 degrees at night. We often do reach singles. So far we're getting a lot of moisture so the clouds are keeping us warm. Hope you're doing well sour.
