The Old Folks Home

We are having spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread today but I might take most of mine home. Don’t want to eat too much as I’m still somewhat recovering. I think I had one of those 24 hour bugs or something. I couldn’t keep anything down all day on Sunday.
Norovirus was a problem here recently.

I had to pay $24.50 for one pound of Kandy Korn seed. That is enough to fill our freezer as well as some road side sales. The Peaches and Cream seed was $18.50 a pound. That will mostly be for road side sales and so will the Bi Licious that costs about $8 for half a pound. It is another white/yellow mixed color sweet corn that I've never grown before. It's earlier than most of the varieties I'm planting.

Clue I'm thinking about you and your treatments. Little over 10 years ago we went through chemo treatments with our second son. He's in his 50's now and is doing fine. His hair is thinner and he has a bald spot now that is common among men. He had that nasty blood cancer that Round Up is supposed to cause. He's never used Round Up or been near it. He got a bone marrow transplant from one of his daughters and that along with advanced chemo at the time at John Hopkins he is doing really well now for all he went through with the treatments.

It is good that He is better! Exposure to roundup can come from food, since it is used heavily in certain crops.

It can also be applied at places in cities and etc. They have been spraying weed killer here on Campus for two weeks now. I smelled it when I went for my walk this morning. I do not know what type of weed killer it was and they did not have warning flags out.
