Good morning, OF. Facing two more days of rain, a statewide flood watch, and wind gusts up to 50 mph. Not much outside activity today.

Our weather forecast did a 180 and now we have a high % chance of rain later today. I'm thinking of washing the van for rain insurance.

Laundry on the line is good insurance too.

That's what they told us yesterday. Need it now and doesn't look like we got 40 drops.

40 drops isn't exactly a rainstorm. The wind is blowing hard, and they're saying tornado activity is possible. The ONLY thing Dh is concerned about, is hail hammering our truck. Nope, no hail is called for, so he's fine. I guess it's ok if a tornado blows it away. ROFLOL It's interesting how some minds work.

Landslide takes out part of hwy 1 in the Big Sur area. No one should be surprised. It has been happening my entire 68 years and probably long before that. And of course it isn't only the road, many houses have ended up in the ocean over the decades.

Yes!

Hwy 50 heading to south Tahoe has a lot of mud slides too.
