The Old Folks Home

95 here today too. Afternoon thunder showers. We shall see. The past few days, the rain has been going around this area. We've caught a little rain from the outskirts of the storms as they go around us, but we sure could use more.
Today is going to be 95F too!

I did hear about the bad storms in Florida. It is too bad that you did not benefit but I am happy that you did not Flood.

We will be lucky to pass 62 today.
I am not complaining.
We had a rough night DH had a low blood sugar
about 3 am. I had him stable pretty quick once he let me put glucose down Son stood guard I cooked two eggs.
Three of us make one great team we all love each other.

Al, I'm glad your family is so enthusiastic about the goslings. You've ingrained that life has value, even animals lives, into them. You've also raised them with a work ethic. That's no small feat in today's age. Since things turned out ok, we'll let it slide that you took your son to the airport, to meet a man that didn't speak English, in a van, picking up young men, to take them off to a foreign land.

Train the goslings a little, and they're better than guard dogs in many ways. Meaner too.
He did great with the scary white van!!! That is already.. almost 8 years back! That was when he was 18, and he will be 26 in the fall.

And thank you! I am incredibly pleased with how well the kids have and are turning out.

Good day at the cardiologist. No further deterioration of my aortic valve. I asked him if I could start running again. His reply, "Get a good pair of shoes and use common sense." Will I, or won't I ? The Princess says, "No way."
Great news!

Misty , the lead goat, has started kidding. So far she has three, all beautifully marked! Photos tomorrow, too dark in the barn tonight.
Gosh the baby goats are so cute I look forward to photos!
