I called an old college friend and we talked for an hour and a half, until my phone beeped its low battery warning.

We just... chatted. We still have a lot to catch up on.

The older I get, the more I realize you need people who knew you "way back when."

Yes, as my grandma gets older I'm so glad that she still has a few old friends that she goes out to lunch with once a month or so. She's lost many friends over the years but still has those few
