Good Afternoon Old Folks
It's a lovely day here in the mid 70's with sunshine.

We are in the 70s today too.

Rain starts tomorrow.

We are not expecting rain for a week and then it is for just a day. Weather is definitely warming now for us like normal. No forecast temps near even a frost now.

Ah heck home from the day out with DH in Chehalis.
Just the two of us !
Fed dogs, put things away. Did tables and boards in the coop.
Started a roast Beast for dinner.

Still dry here weather guessers say temp will go back to low 50's.

Already 60 here outside ! May try to get a few things planted
in the old coop.

Well I've done it again. I managed to get pecked in the left eye. At least it is down in the outside corner. A year or so ago I got pecked in the right eye. First a Delaware pullet that liked to fly up on my shoulder and tonight is was a Crested Cream Legbar that was sitting in my lap getting a small amount of rye bread as a treat. When the bread was about gone she spotted the white of my eye and went for it. Only my quick reflex saved that eye. I'll see the eye doc Monday morning. The ER here is not equipped to do anything with it and it is not nearly as bad as what that Delaware did. I've flushed it with eye refreshing drops and unless it starts getting worse I will not waste time in the ER. All they could do if necessary is to give me antibiotics if it looks like there is an infection.

My birds have not or ever flown to my shoulder. Not sure about yours I guess.
