Won't be above freezing till near noon. Snow today and tonight. Around 20 tonight and tomorrow night. Long range forecast shows no more hard freezes this spring after that.

~~Saturday was such a tease here in Lower Alabama. It was 78 and sunny all day.


I finished my refurbished old door coffee table and got it in the house. I used the milk paint I bought earlier this year up in Birmingham when I went to see Wisher. I'm trying to think of another excuse to head back up there and get more chicks.

Beautiful! You don't need an excuse, just come in! The little mutt chicks are even tempting me! There are several silvery ones that are begging to stay! I need another pen....

Yup, paleo is delish!! ( But I do like some cheese-- had a slice of a ricotta pie with lemon zest and homemade chocolate- almond bark with lunch. Use CO in the bark.)

kingfrodo, It's looking good. If it were me doing the project, I would cut the doorknob hole large enough to accommodate a heat lamp, put hardware cloth on the one side, and put chicks in it. It would then serve as a multitasking coffee table.

I don't think the hubby would go for that...Plus, I'm not big on animals in the house. It's all I can do to handle the dog in the house.
