The Old Folks Home

I work harder retired like it that way.
Good morning Old Folks having my second cup.
Almost human.
So far I do not work harder than when I worked but now the work is for Me!

I do a lot more physical work now. I think that's great. My job was a lot of standing (on cement; hard on the feet, knees, and back), a little moving around, and lots of repetitive hand motions. I'll take gardening over that!

And walking with the dog, and sitting with the chickens. :thumbsup

My job was a mix of computer work and working on computers. I did have to move printers, copiers and both server and computer setups too.

It was a nice mix of things to do!

My job was QC and shipping. I used to think nearly anyone could do it. Well, we hired a lot of people who couldn't. Probably some because they didn't care, some because they couldn't stay focused enough on the details that mattered. Come to think of it, most of that job was in the details.

It was a long stressful weekend that started Friday morning. The trip up to the Knoxville, TN area to see a granddaughter married off was more than we bargained for. From Friday AM until Sunday PM we spent way to much time driving. Some really crazy stuff in the mountains and also on the interstates that became slow moving parking lots. Just glad to be home and can sit and hold the chicks and older chickens.
