Liver Chestnut. One of my mini's is this color but his mane and tail are silver white.
Ooh! Silver Dapple is one of my favorite colors, though the ones I like best are gray on the body rather than chocolate brown.

my last horse's sire was a Black grey Arabian Stallion... Desert bloodlines ... white on black dapples with a white mane and tail.... Sigh unfortunately all greys become white....

Whether a gray will turn white depends on whether they are gray because of the gray gene, or whether they are grey because of the Silver gene. Silver Blacks don't gray out, unless they also have the gray gene.

This one, for example, won't gray out:

ooooh nice.... see.... I am not quite up on all the color genetics out there. My girl is black and has always had this kind of dappling... black on black... a sign of good health too.

Those are some very lovely horses I like the Morgans best.
But here's a chicken

Because I don't know a thing about horses
lol. You remind me of a conversation I had with another rabbit breeder. I remarked that everyone goes home from a rabbit show hoarse from "talking rabbit" with each other all day, and she said, "that's because nobody else wants to hear it!"

I joke that my husband talks about RAM to me and I nod and my eyes glaze over after a minute. I talk about rams to him and his eyes glaze over after about a minute.
