The Old Folks Home

That would be a sweet price... I can barely remember when it was that cheap.maybe early nineties.

***?    oh....  in Alabama.... not here  I need to put fuel in my truck....  Last time was almost 5.00 a gallon.

I can only afford ten gallons at a time ....  enough to drive to my house and back and enough to do errands up there...  120 miles round trip so I want a little extra just in case.

It's $1.50 a litre here so $6 a gallon I think. Blah $100 to fill my tiny truck. :(

Just cam back from an errand and the fuel is at around 3.65 a gallon. California fuel is pretty well taxed to death.... so if you strip out the almost dollar per gallon wed be what the rest of the states have.

it takes 35 gallons to fill my truck to the tune of about 125.00 at this price. I should fill it but I dont have the money...

Yeah the majority of the gas price in BC is tax, carbon tax, Eco tax, what ever tax.... Hydros going up up up too so no electric car for me ( I'm a truck girl anyway)

Ford and GM are coming out with hybrids. GM has a plug in hybrid:

Sadly, nearly all hybrids and electrics are sold in California so the rest of the Country is missing out some how.

Many companies are turning to Diesel hybrids for Semi trucks too.

New anything is just out of my price range...
I like to pay in full when ever possible, no loans, and no mortgage anymore either.
So I'll check out those trucks in ten years when I can get a deal :)
Or maybe I'll win the lottery :lau

I hope you are able to visit often and that you get to spend lots and lots of time with that baby. Congratulations all around, but especially to you, Grandma!
I already plan on going back sometime in March when she is due. I hope I will get to see some of her dad's side of the family again then too but they are all in RI so that is a bit of a drive.

Pretty serious but not engaged. Randy had to come to NY for DD's approval. He now has the approval of all three "pony ladies" (this is what my DD's closest friends call themselves). I honestly hope it does work out for them. Randy is very nice (a little odd so he fit right in

) and Shannon is just a very sweet (and odd) girl.

Dsqard: i think the camera caught u mid blink in that pic with u and ur god daughter.
Dude I actually have very heavy eyelids (thanks to my heavily Germanic "pedigree") and my eyes are actually open.
