I think Bama is scouting up some bread and mayo.... Nice 'matoes!

As far as the cleanup in Aisle 14 goes, we all left the store when they discontinued the Blue Light Special. No cleanup necessary, just move on.
I'm still working on the visual of riding the pig for AI. Not one for the Christmas card.....

My neighbors were novice sheepers and asked me if I knew how to tell when a ewe was in estrus.
"Sure."
"How?"
"They just stand there." Which, honestly, is what they do...it's like part of the brains in their tiny skulls just turned to mush and they're like "Duhh....Duh?" They have a hard time moving out of the way for anything....very similar to a pig will let you ride her, except there is no sheep rodeo.
Wisher those chicken feet have beautifully manicured nails. You should have the dog sit outside on Halloween with those sticking out of his mouth. Then you could keep all the candy you bought for yourself. You know it is Trick or treat. Kids eat too much candy nowadays. I think a good trick(scary) is much better for them. Besides running away is great exercise.
CAREFUL!! Those things will kill every single chicken you have in a single night. They terrify me since it is VERY difficult to make a coop completely weasel, stoat, mink, proof and mine are not.
In that case...plant stuff you like to eat, that likes cool weather.... you being a Bama boy, shouldn't have to worry about a short season for your fall garden, so plant
peas (YUM! NOTHING is better than freshly grown peas!)
any leafy green that you like to eat...lettuce, spinach, kale
carrots do well
radishes and beets will also work well
There are those scary veggies too....broccoli and cauliflower.....
I tried to find myself in the link @perchie.girl suggested....and I got a blank.
I tried a different site, and I did exist....but the only info I got was that I am zone 4.....
Which is interesting... I rate myself a zone 5 to 2 when looking for plants. The problem is that some plants get ready for winter through daylight cues (that kind will all die), and others get ready for winter by temperature cues (those will live). Also, short stuff that will be hidden by snow, ...etc. etc.
Lots of factors. We also have boom years, of bunnies and rodents, when they eat everything. We always have moose.

Mine are not weasel proof and I'm freaking, I'd put a dog in each pen/coop but a recent " lets kill a duck party" is making me think the dogs are a bad idea too....
Not sure what to do the dogs didn't manage to catch it yet.... Arg wits end
My rather chicken Aussie pup was barking at the wood pile, terrified. I went to see... Figured he was freaking out about a mouse, I brought the dog in looked back through the window and out pooped that weasel and as always I had my phone/camera/computer.... Silly dog, barks at me if I have a towel on my wet hair.
Maybe the cats will kill it, they got the last one.... Fingers crossed.
