Well we did go over the rim (on purpose but not in a car) but we didn't hold hands.

Cynthia I was pretty close to the bull elk but the camera did let me get closer. They are fairly tame allowing people to photograph them. I wouldn't get too close though. Those antlers look like they would hurt.

Awwww, there y'all are! I sure wish (there I go again) I could be there with you two. I bet it is a non-stop joy! Have fun my friends, and be careful. No cliff diving on this trip, okay? Save that for your trip to Acapulco!

More bats and bugs.....

The winds are blowing from the south this morning, which means a storm front (remnants from Hurricane Simon) are blowing in. It also means that today the balloons drift over my house. There's about a hundred up; this is just one view from my back porch.

 
Also, her brother seems to be very proud. He's out there singing the egg song all excited, half an hour after she laid it.

Nice egg vehve I suppose you will be charting it :) what kind of chickens are those two? Are they supposed to be productive?


They're Speckled Sussexes, dual purpose. Can't speak for produvtivity yet, but these are super slow to mature.
