Diva,

You are correct! Arabella is the cow's name...She's Creamland's mascot. (local dairy)

We also had Smokey the Bear, a trio of bumblebees, a shark, an orca, a carousel, a can of Red Bull, a bunch of elephants, an alarm clock, an earthenware pitcher, Darth Vadar, Yoda, a boot, a fire truck, Humpty Dumpty, a pot with a lizard coiled around it, a fish, a spaceman, a pirate ship, some space thingies, Felix the cat, a mouse, a butterfly, and a bunch of shapes (diamonds, hearts) and then hundreds of other "regular" balloons. Really neat and imaginative stuff and pretty colors which do not show up well on overcast days photographing into the sun.

We're fortunate that we live not too far away as the crow flies, but driving there is an extrapolous route. So I just watch from the patio. At night from our dining room we get a view of the nightly fireworks display. Getting kind of spoiled by it all; I'll be very sad when it's over tomorrow.

(The dogs won't be sad when it's done. Apparently the apparatus to fire up the balloon emits a high pitch that only dogs can hear...and dogs are barking at the balloons long before they can see them).

Yes, a lot of people do it overnight. Then use a blender to get the apples less chunky, or even smooth, and..they only use half of the sugar amount.

Nice job, hennible.

Oz, I've often wondered the same. If a man comments on the shape of a womans buttocks, he's a chauvinist pig. Switch the genders, and she's progressive and not afraid to speak her mind.
