not MIA...  just BLAH!

Too dark... haven't been doing my happy light enough, and then I have things to do!  SCREAM!

Last week was end of the school year first quarter...so all of that stuff had to be done.....

And since we are having fall number 2, I have been trying to get the kids to do more and better fall clean-up outside.  Hard to do a good job with that.

Amazing how much time everything takes.

The kids had to go squirrel hunting (one got into a house we take care of)

the kids had to walk the driveway and toss off all of the big rocks

There was still school, house cleaning, and the end of first quarter crud

I have more stuff in my "must REALLY do!!!" stack that I am avoiding... which is uber bad.

Oh, and we had a guest Friday and Sat.  I actually LIKE this guest, he is good, and fun to have, spouse doesn't require the house to be clean for this guest (house must be clean for all other guests, but because this guest comes from a house more pig-like than our own).  Spouse is often unpleasant, but the spouse that has to clean a house is ultra unpleasant.

:hugs

I love guests like that - I don't mention their junk pile err house, and they don't mention mine. OUR places are usually clean just cluttered ALOT. Maybe you need anti depressant - I'll share mine. I'm still depressed but not morbidly so.

linda. If we are getting freeze in Houston then you are most likely getting it in NOLA too. we don't usually get this cold until Jan or Feb. now it will only be a few more hours so I won't whine in front of the others

When we moved down to Cypress a few yrs ago all the new neighbors were mad and blamed us for the snow. "You brought it down here.Send it back!" Now I'm back up here and you guys are still freezing.

I know, I had 3/4" ice in the bowls this morning. It'll be 26 tonight in Shreveport. Shades of things to come. I bet it's gonna be a bear this winter. Even for us.
