I thought this was your hobby along with keeping chickens and children.

I'm not an authentic lurker. I'm a part time lurker. Half of the time by the time I catch up on reading all of the posts, it's too late to interject. You know timing is everything.

I gotta find some eggs to hatch dadgumit! Why is it when you aren't looking EVERYBODY has them. When you want some all you hear is crickets!!

I dont have an incubator and my silkies have been broody for the last 2 weeks. I doubt they'll be broody for a hatch a long so I'm not even looking for eggs. *sigh* Maybe next time.

When the hatch along first came up I swear eggs were everywhere cheap as could be. I say I want to do the hatch along and this cold spell hits and zipppppp the eggs dry up and no one has any lol!

Except for marshmallows eggs all the eggs that were mine have bit the dust, my farmers market eggs are still trucking though... Unless these new girls or my buff orps start laying soon I'm going to be buying more farmers market eggs for the hatch along... That seals my old girls tickets to freezer camp... Or broth and dog food camp.
