Got the LG up and running. It's missing a red plug and the entire thermometer thing (but from what I hear neither one are a big loss).

Have to say though that the quality on this sucker is waaaaaaaay below what I was expecting. I had nicer "coolers" in college.



It's already up to 72 and it's only been on a few minutes. It'll be cooking my fantasy eggs in just a few minutes, I'm sure.

SCG..I love these. I just hatched a bunch of chicks in one..well, two different types of these. Incubated in one like you are showing..and no, no big loss of not having the plug or the thermometer..I had 19 chicks out of 20 that went into lock down hatch. I had to toss a lot of the shipped eggs, they had fluid floating at the top..never a good thing. You will have to turn the heat down..as you know..but, it only takes a small tweak with them to change that temp big time.

I just cant see spending all that cash for a styrofoam bator....kinda why I DIYed it..........

The only $ I've spent on it so far is a water wiggler and a 9$ thermometer probe from amazon.
