You are supposed to keep chicken math quiet.
Seriously though I hope not too much.

actually.... I don't think it was THAT sort of thing.........

But to be honest... I was so deeply asleep that I have no idea what I said..... I asked, what I had said, but Spouse wouldn't tell me exactly what it was that I had said.

Spouse was pretty ticked....

But still hasn't told me what I did.

It WAS post-beer fest.... but dude! I really hadn't had that much to drink! I didn't feel at all under the influence. I know you will not believe me... but it wasn't the beer.

I was super deeply asleep, and spouse poked me or something, and I "was rude".

random comment...

I got in trouble for something that I said to spouse.... while I was sleeping.......

so sucks
that is one thing DH had never held me responsible for, I recorded him sleep talking once and replayed it for him. He never said another word.

I would wake up hysterical saying the house is on fire just to play it off

Alaskan, your spouse seriously needs a reality check, if you are being held accountable for something said while you were asleep. I'd get pretty rude while totally awake over that kind of nonsense! I mean really, what next - are you gonna get into trouble for things said in their dreams?

When Critter and I had been married . . . oh, just a few weeks, as I recall, I woke one night to realize he had stolen all of the covers. As I started to pull some back to my side, he suddenly grabbed my wrist. I twisted my arm just a little, and he gripped it even tighter; actually hurting a bit. When he continued to hold my arm, I finally said, "You're hurting me." "Uhhhmmm?" he said. "Critter, you are hurting my arm. Please, let go." Finally, he let go. "Thank you," I said. Now more or less awake, he said, "what?" He was pretty muddled, but he told me he'd been dreaming about a dog that was trying to bite him, and he'd grabbed its collar and was holding onto it, trying to keep the dog off. To this day, he has no recollection of any of this; all I can say is, I'm so glad it was my arm that he got hold of, and not my throat!

Punky did something sort of comparable. I don't know, year or two ago he didn't exactly punch me, but you know when you slam your fist down on the table... he drilled me like that in his sleep... Smashed his first into my hip bone so bloody hard it woke him and I both up in pain... I'm glad he had hit a bone because if you hit something squishy like my stomach, it would've been even worse... Oh face, now that would have been worse...

I did something to each of my exes. I often had nightmares. Once I was being beaten by a family member and fought back. I hit my girls dad on his upper thigh very hard. I felt really bad. The other I don't remember what the nightmare was exactly just someone chasing me and caught up and was about to grab me. Ex got totally shoved out of bed. For some odd reason I don't recall feeling bad about that. Just more upset over the strange scary nightmare.
