thanks to everyone for the input. TOTALLY silly me... I knew that... I did...

However, I usually use my laptop on my lap, .... but, I am sure they have fancy mice that would happily sit on my lap.

DUDES!!!!!!!

I am supposed to be incubating a bunch of requested chicks (for money), and so OF COURSE the ladies aren't giving me as many eggs as I need in the correct breeds...

many years ago i had a really young guy come through my cath lab,

he spoke of devices that would one day be powered and received data through this port he was working on

just imagine...
Silicon valley?
Then he started working on the cars that drive themselves.
Next will be a transporter that can beam us to mars AND BACK. That way it won't be a one way trip.

With the advent of Chick Days at the local feedstore, Squeak the solo hatchling White Marans got a companion. Well, actually two because if Squeak is a boy, then the companion needs to have a companion. (Chicken math at work....) Anyway, DH picked them out and now we have Annie the Ameraucana and a yet-unnamed Minorca.

Thought y'all might like a chick pic this morning to start your day off...

trying to pose chicks is like trying to herd cats....
aww that darn chicken math.

When you go mouse shopping, make sure to read the specs on the back of the mouse box. Not all mouses work with all computers. Just FYI.....
I did not know this. I like Logitech, I have had several including a mini corded usb for my chromebook I love.

definately genetics but also the mechanics during breeding. The tail helps with that whole kiss thingy.... Without it its hard to make a connection. Neither of my Arucanas had tufts... they were just rumpless.

I did have two silky roos in with the Araucana hen but I just think those eggs were not fertile.

Not doing Arucanas again. I just want some blue egg layers possibly Creme Legbars there is a breeder here.

What else didn't you like about Araucanas?

Nothing except not being able to breed them. I paid sixty dollars for the pair I believe... and would have kept them ad infinitum if the coyotes didnt get em all... coming on two years now I have been without chickens of any kind.

But I found the hen was sweet and the roo while aloof wasnt into fighting the three other roos in with him. Nice big bird too. almost as large as the Wellie Roos.

No I am going to stick with the birds I wanted to raise in the first place.... Guinea Fowl... Plus sumatras to raise up guineas... and a few chickens for my own personal eggs...

Would be cool to produce a Sumatra that layed blue eggs though....
