Yes, I just got those 2 incubators in late December brand new.
I'm in tears, the neighbors refused my bribe of eggs and told my my 2 favorite roosters are a problem and I need to remedy the situation sooner than later.
So.. now I have been crying over possibly having to kill my crow reduced white bresse and ayam cemani roosters. For several hours. Non stop.
On top of the stupid incubator issues.
On top of my chickens mentor being diagnosed with cancer and not wanting my friend sick or to go through everything alone.
And the stress of getting ready for the htcc (my biggest industry weekend event of the year).
I need hugs my friends.
And a solution for soundproof boxes for my roosters to not have to die yet so I can keep them to work on my meat birds and my fibro sbel and fibromelanistic chickens projects.
I tried to cheer myself up by looking at my new chicks to watch chick tv. But then I started thinking.. I might have to kill their daddy, and their siblings are probably not going to hatch either. Which made me even more sad.
I'm DK, near Denver, Colorado. I have 43 chickens, 3 roosters, 7 ducks, 2 bunnies, 2 greyhounds, a kitty cat and have a thing for rare breeds of chickens and ducks, suck at hatching, and am an ok cook that has celiac disease and has to cook gluten-free.
