I can tell you something that you should  DEFINITELY NEVER DO!!!   I  get this stupid thing going  where I will  say my son is  29  - I' m 67.9,  when he is 39 I'll be  77.9 then a  long, ackward pause when I realize   I may not be present for the 10 year jump after that.    I think that is where the binging on ice cream comes in.  I just don't want to think- ice cream numbs the brain until it's all gone.

Sorry, my anti depressant doesn't always work.

then dont try to figure out what percentage of your age your son is.... Mine is 25 I am 60 now... hes catching up.

when i am he will be
60 25 or .476 my age
70 35 or .500 my age
80 45 or .563 my age
90 55 or .611 my age

I'm not planning on it, of course. Just saying I've had a good life. I hope to have many more good years, but if that's not in the cards, I didn't squander what I had. I guess I'm more morbid than most, I think about stuff like this.
