Bama if you are awake, I welcomed a new member who said YOU put him onto BYC. I felt compelled to give him a quick rundown on your adventures but, DIDN'T. It's all good.

I've been posting left and right, just scattered over the BYC terrain(threads). We've been going up and down in temps, which is better than long periods of either one. Just too much rain

power went out here for about an hour and a half... Son went nutz... everyone was out of their houses looking up and down the street. I took it a step further and took the car to see where the power ended and to listen to the news... ONLY dang news station here in San Diego switched over to Clearchannel and they pretty much eliminated local news...

I spotted a cop that lives down the street and asked him if he knew anything. Just a transformer that caught fire... I hate that word fire...

power is up... and I am reassessing our personal evac plans...

We have all sorts of friendlies flying in to help our MULTIPLE fire fights... Crazy! (Nope, not close to me..... Might get hit with smoke later, but thats it)

Its amazing how far they will come to help.... I hope you dont have alot of wind... here we have Santa Annas blow so hard they have to close some freeways to high profile vehicles. Whole semis have been flicked off the freeway. 70-80 mile an hour gusts...
