My husband just sent me a message about our chicken loss.. I'm working on killing the raccoon. He says your so cute when your angry cause I know your sitting there on byc and rage knitting a rug for the kitchen:) he knows me so well

I would love a demo and pics of "rage knitting a rug!"

I like berry but my teeth cant handle getting cracked on a seed
So:
Strawberry

Rhubarb without other stuff in it.... Just plain old Rhubarb.

Custard pies:
Pecan... the kind that has minced pecans in the custard... and pecans on top. when we lived in Roswell we hat three HUGE pecan trees in our front yard....
Pumpkin
I also think I would love sweet potato pie but have never had it.

Meat:
Chicken Pot pie
Beef pot pie
Shrimp Pot pie

Quiche

and NO I don't bake.... go figure... The only ones i have made were the Quiche and I used Croissant dough from Pilsburry One roll of dough is good for two quiche crusts... If I could find puff pastry I would do pot pies as well. Also anything that can be made with a Graham Cracker crust... I have made Cheese cake once or twice....

Its not that I dont know how to make pastry .... seen it done on TV.... But crust making is messy and I dont have a proper place to work.

I used to cook for a living... well I kinda still do as I'm a lunch lady, but still I'm just a mom and a farm wife. Crops cooking and living on a shoe string budget. That's me our acreage is full of things, if it's not useful I don't really have it. I could tell you how to make lots of things but, it does take some finesse and practice.

Its ok.... People who bake pies and breads and cakes are good with Chemistry.... and I truely admire that.... I just dont have a decent kitchen setup. Plus the kitchen here is grandmas kitchen.

I would love to do all sorts of things using a rustic tart crust... From savory like tomato basil to sweet like apple



No pie pan just a pizza pan...
