One thing I like is to go the opposite direction if someone tries to haggle too much. Especially if I've already agreed to lower the price. And that "I can get this cheaper somewhere else" bit is just bad negotiating. Only thing you're telling the seller then is that you're an idiot because you're trying to buy it from the more expensive place. With chains I like to use that myself though, because many of them do price matching. Some chains here even have a 30 day price guarantee. I went back 3 weeks after buying a washer-dryer combo and some other stuff, showed them prices from other stores, and got back 200 euros. That was pretty sweet.
