SCG why didn't boyfriend shoot him? I notice the biddy inside didn't even run away from the fence. Ho boy, no wonder they love to eat chickens.

Either a coyote or hawk. Haven't determined for sure yet.

Yep. We've seen a couple floating around lately, and from the looks of the carcass, its a possibility.

Yes, the fox was dead in the trap. Something had eaten on it, but left about half of it. We assume something scared it off before it was able to finish its meal.

I'm going with a coyote killing the fox. Several years ago I snared a big boar coon. When I got there he was dead, but there was coyote fur strewn all over the place. That coon gave as good as he got.
